Our Story

Our Shining Star Home Care Agency LLC was founded from a place of love, compassion, and a deeply personal experience with caregiving. The inspiration behind our agency comes from the memory of the owner’s beloved late son, Danari Ty Peer. The meaning of his name—“Our Shining Star Has Been Seen”—is what gave life to the name of our agency. This organization stands as a living tribute to his kindness, his spirit, and his passion for caring for others. While Danari was with us, he naturally embodied the true heart of caregiving. He served as the primary caregiver for his grandmother (the owner’s mother) and his two great-aunts. Several times each week, he made sure they had the support, attention, and companionship they needed. He was never paid for this work—he did it simply out of love, compassion, and a genuine desire to help his family. Caring for others came naturally to him, and he showed that true caregiving comes from the heart. In addition to this experience, our family also faced the difficult journey of caring for the owner’s father, who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Because of his condition, he wanted to remain in the comfort of his home, which required hiring personal care workers to assist with his daily needs. Unfortunately, our experience was not always a positive one. Some caregivers did not share the compassion, patience, and dedication that caregiving truly requires. As a result, he did not always receive the level of care and respect that every person deserves.
